Riitta Ikonen et Karoline Hjorth se sont rencontrées en mai 2011 en Norvège durant une résidence d’artistes, de cette rencontre est né un projet baptisé « Eyes as Big as Plates« .

Un projet photographique reprenant des personnages issus du folklore finlandais.

Les artistes recréent ces personnages mythologiques en utilisant les végétaux environnants et les locaux.
